Pingyao, a city that hides a thousand years of age in green bricks and gray tiles. The city's buildings have flying eaves and red lanterns hang high, and the past of Jin merchants whispers in the streets of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Shuanglin Temple is alive with colorful sculptures, Mianshan Mountain is haunted by smoke and clouds, and the lights and shadows of the deep alleys of the compound sway. Every step here is a line of poetry carved in time, and every flavor is an invitation to Jinzhong.

Daily Itinerary(can be customized)

Day 1 Departure City-Taiyuan-Pingyao

Take a flight to Taiyuan, upon arrival, you will be picked up by an exclusive car and transferred to the "Celebrity Manor" [Pingyao JIA Movie Inn] for check-in and rest. Dinner will be served at the inn.
Day 2 Pingyao

Today, we invite an expert in ancient architecture to accompany us for an in-depth look at the World Heritage Site [Ancient City of Pingyao], a cultural city with a history of more than 2,700 years and known as one of the "Four Well-Preserved Ancient Cities". In the afternoon, we will make a special arrangement to make the Pingyao Woodblock Prints, which are based on the culture of deities and joyful and auspicious multiculturalism, and are printed with traditional ink plates and hand-dyed by the original craftsmen. In the evening, enjoy the large-scale live-action show "Seeing Pingyao Again", which has no traditional stage and no auditorium, with the audience watching as they walk, creating the first "walking" mode of interactive viewing.

Day 3 Pingyao

After breakfast, go to Zhenguo Temple, a part of the World Cultural Heritage, where the walls of the Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas are covered with colorful murals, and 11 Five Dynasties colorful sculptures are preserved in the hall, which are the only remaining sculptures of the Five Dynasties in domestic temples other than those in Dunhuang. Afterwards, you will come to the Shuanglin Temple, one of the three treasures of Pingyao, which is known as "the treasure house of ancient Chinese colored sculpture art" and "the treasure of oriental colored art". Baiyue exclusively arranged for Mr. Xue Shengjin, a lacquer master, to lead us through Pingyao Lacquer Art and make a Pingyao Lacquerware of your own.

Day 4 Pingyao

After breakfast, we will go to the Qiao Family Residence, which is known as the "Folk Palace", and is a fine example of a residence that brings together the history of the Jin merchants and reflects the characteristics of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and is also famous for Zhang Yimou's movie "Big Red Lanterns Hanging Tall". Afterwards, you can go to Taiyuan [China Coal Museum] to experience the underground world of the "Sea of Coal" and witness the formation process of coal through a four-dimensional motion picture. You can also ride the real miner's train, wearing a miner's hat, and experience the coal mining process.
Day 5 Taiyuan - Departure City

After breakfast, go to one of the most well-preserved historical and cultural sites in China until now [Jin Ancestral Temple], "not to Jin Ancestral Temple, in vain to Taiyuan", with more than 100 sculptures, many historical buildings, gardens and bridges. Afterwards, drive to the airport to take the flight, the end of a pleasant trip, back to the warmth of home.
